Akindele Majekodunmi || Co-Founder and CEO, Pinnacle Medical Group
Akindele Majekodunmi was born in Lagos, Nigeria and grew up in Schenectady, NY. He received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Bridgeport (CT) and received his dual MD/MBA degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick (NJ) and Westminster Business School in London, England. Akindele’s Internal Medicine residency was at Yale New Haven Health/Greenwich Hospital Program followed by Post-Doctoral Research at Harvard Medical School and a Sleep Medicine Clinical Fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He later left Boston to be Chief Medical Officer of Northeast Healthcare Quality Foundation, a Dover, NH based healthcare consultancy company. In this role he worked closely with other healthcare executives to improve the delivery of healthcare in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont hospitals and nursing homes. Akindele is Chief Executive Officer of EveryPatient, Inc. a healthcare startup focused on using technology to improve patient satisfaction and patient experience. He is also the Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Medical Group, the second largest medical group on the North Shore of Boston focused on providing acute (hospital) care and post-acute (nursing home) care. Akindele, his wife Muna and their three children are members of Trinity Church.
